We are visiting today a little later than usual, but I still had a “cuppa joy”. Did you?

It is raining here in Texas and it is giving my newly planted herbs an old fashioned drink.  There is something soothing about the rain that settles the nervous system. Have you ever heard the rain hit a tin roof on a lazy afternoon? Makes for a great nap, when you can curl up with your favorite book while wearing your comfy PJs that are soft and worn from years of being loved.

Something else that is super soothing to your nervous system and easy to grow is Lavender ~Angustifolia lavandula. It is pretty hardy and has earned it’s keep in my garden many times over.  There are multiple varieties available and some will grow better in your specific region than others.
